ABOUT
CATRINA STILLER
Executive Director,
Licensed professional counselor of Mental health
I love to learn and I love to think. I become easily bored with superficial conversations. I am deeply curious about many things. Silent retreats are my favorite form of getaway. I love to spend time in nature and explore new places. I can not say no to a delicious piece of dark chocolate. Music quickly moves me, and I enjoy hearing the songs that are currently meaningful to my friends and clients.
I love to aid people in intimately knowing themselves and learning how to be their own best friend. I educate others in how to improve their innate intuitive abilities. I teach spiritual matters practically.
As a life-long learner, I am constantly reading, taking classes, and furthering my knowledge and understanding of being human. I love to pass that knowledge on to the people I serve. I know a little about a lot of things.
Like most healers, I was curious about how to heal myself after experiencing many of life's struggles including childhood difficulties, loss, trauma, grief, depression, and anxiety. I personally understand what it feels like to experience shame, guilt, hurt, anger, grief, and all the other seemingly negative human emotions. But, I also understand how to transform those feelings into courage, acceptance, love, joy, and peace. And while I do not pretend to hold the answers for you, I am willing to teach you the skills, hold the space, and ask the questions that will assist you in finding your own answers.
I bring an eclectic, holistic approach to counseling as I do not believe that one size fits all. I have received specialty training in animal-assisted therapies, various forms of energy medicine including Reiki, many theoretical types of psychotherapy, intuition, mindfulness-based meditation practices, nutrition for optimal mental health, sensorimotor and somatic methods, trauma-informed therapies and yoga practices. I also bring a plethora of former job experiences including leadership and management positions in non-profit organizations, health clinics, and higher education.
