Are you mentally healthy?

We focus on a holistic approach to mental health.  Humans are complex and have multifaceted needs.  Three core needs standout—safety, love & belonging, and boundaries. When we consistently have these needs met, we tend to be mentally healthy.

As adults, we, alone, are responsible for getting these core needs met. Unfortunately, we might not know how especially if these behaviors were not modeled for us as children. Fortunately, these are learnable skills at any age.

Safety: Practice being present in your body. We need to learn how to stay connected with our bodies even when we feel distress or uncomfortable emotions. Here’s one way to practice ……

Love & Belonging: Become curious about your inner dialogue and offer yourself comfort and compassion rather than criticism and judgment.

Boundaries: Practice setting and meeting small boundaries with yourself. EX: Consistently going to bed at a certain time, getting in a certain number of steps in a day, or meeting your daily water intake requirement.

Remember your needs MATTER, and you’re WORTH it.
